SPANAWAY, Wash. - Playing their second match in less than 24 hours, the College of Idaho played tough against a always stout Pacific Lutheran side, with the Lutes taking a 7-2 decision at the Sprinker Recreation Center.

Leading 2-1 after the tandem set, PLU cruised to the team win by taking 5-of-6 singles matches. Â C of I earned their lone point at No. 3, where freshman Laura Humphreys dispatched Stephanie Baker in straight sets - 6-3, 6-2.
C of I makes their local debut this week, playing a Thursday scrimmage at Treasure Valley CC.
