MONMOUTH, Ore. - Jacob Bohince scored seven goals, helping seventh-ranked Western Oregon to a 26-11 victory over College of Idaho in Pacific Northwest Lacrosse League action.
The Wolves (5-1) overcame 10 penalty minutes to earn the victory, using a 61-41 edge in total shots.
The Yotes (3-1) stayed close through the first half, using three-straight goals in the second quarter to pull within 10-4 at the break. C of I scored four goals off man-advantages in the third period, but could not stop the WOU attack, as Bohince scored three times in the frame, extending the hosts lead to 18-9.
Dillon Green had four goals in the losing effort for the Yotes, with Ian Williams and Austin Mendiola each scoring three. VJ Dahm had 18 saves for C of I.
The Coyotes hit the road next weekend for a meeting at Utah State.
