CALDWELL, Idaho - Brandon Determan scored six goals and added six assists, as nationally-ranked Western Oregon rolled to a 25-9 victoy over The College of Idaho in PNCLL action at Symms Field.
The Wolves (6-4), ranked No. 14 in the MCLA Division II national poll, raced out to a 6-0 lead after the first quarter and were never headed. WOU outscored the Coyotes (3-2) 10-0 in the third quarter to lead 21-4 - as Clay Malensek had five goals and Joseph Graham added four goals for the visitors.
The Yotes got three goals from Austin Mendiola, with Patrick Erstad and Ian Williams each scoring two. Ryan Gibson had a career-high 22 saves in the losing effort.
