FOREST GROVE, Ore. - Despite their first two victories of the 2013 season, The College of Idaho women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision this morning at Pacific University.

Senior Hayley Hutchings notched her first win of the season, earning a straight-set win at No. 2 singles' over the Boxers (1-8) Rachel Mizuno, 6-3, 6-2. The Yotes (0-3) came close at No. 3 singles', as Emily Tesnohlidek lost a tight 7-5, 6-2 decision to Francesca Battaglia.
In doubles' play, the Yotes earned their first win of the season, as Tesnohlidek teamed with Tanya Greenwood to win at No. 2, topping the Boxers Battaglia and Carlee Rhodaback, 8-4.
The Lady Yotes next action will be Friday night at the University of Puget Sound.
