LEWISTON, Idaho – The College of Idaho women’s tennis team opened the 2013 season this afternoon, dropping a 9-0 decision to Lewis-Clark State, inside the LCSC Tennis Center.

The Warriors (3-3) won 24-of-27 games played in doubles, with the No. 1 team of Bryn Oliveira and Deanri Human defeating the Yotes Shae Stults and Hayley Hutchings, 8-2.
L-C dominated singles’ play as well, as none of the six Warrior players lost more than two games in a match. Hutchings and Emilee Chapman each won two games in their matches – as Hutchings fell 6-2, 6-0 to Oliveira at No. 2, with Chapman falling 6-2, 6-0 at No. 5 to Florencia Martina at No. 5.
The C of I returns to action on March 5, hosting Treasure Valley CC at 4 p.m.
