Box Score

The No. 15 ranked Lady Yotes (11-4, 8-0 CCC) won their eighth-straight match and extended their Cascade Conference home win streak to 66 in a row.

After the Cavaliers (7-7, 4-3) went wire-to-wire in Set 4 to send the match to a winner-take-all frame, CU took a 6-5 lead in the final set on a Mariah Raudsepp kill.  The C of I responded with kills from Torrey Hulsey, Liz Myers, and Peacock to lead 8-6 at the change-over – extending the run to 8-1 on three-straight Peacock kills to lead 13-7 and cruised for the win.

The opening set saw the Yotes get a trio of aces in an opening 9-3 run, but CU rallied with a 7-1 push  to even the score – taking a 16-14 lead on a combo-block from Brianna Hogan and Mariah Raudsepp.  The C of I answered, as a block by Peacock and Myers fueled a five-point run that gave the Coyotes a 20-17 and they cruised to the win.

Set 2 featured 14 ties – the last at 21-21, before the Cavs got back-to-back Hogan kills and a Kelsey Kai service ace to earn set point.  Following a Coyote kill, Raudsepp put a quick set away to even the match.

CU jumped out to a 9-6 lead in Set 3, but the Yotes rattled off 10 of the next 11 points, including three Peacock kills and a pair of blocks by Myers to take command at 16-10 and rolled to the win.  However, Set 4 was dominated by the Cavs, sprinting out to a 5-1 lead, with the Yotes getting as close as 13-12, before four-straight points gave the visitors a comfortable edge, forcing a final set.
