ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT C OF I: 
Participated in the Student Athletic Advising Committee (now Association of Student Athletes) in his freshman and junior year
 
HIGH SCHOOL: 
Athletic accomplishments: Placed in the top ten in his high school state meet for both individual and relay events during his sophomore and senior year.
In the classroom: Was given the scholar athlete award all four years of high school from the swim team.
 
PERSONAL: 
Joining the Yote Fam from Issaquah, WA, Karl was raised by Megan and Paul Yount. Aside from his efforts in the pool, Karl is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Biomedical Sciences. He chose The College of Idaho because of its biomedical program as well as its small, tight-nit community and swim team.
