Biography

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT C OF I:
24-25: Awarded the Specht scholarship, as well as being rewarded Dean's list honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: 
Athletic accomplishments: Multiple national championship qualifier, in both both long and short course. Junior finalist on 50 free, two times bronze medalist on the 4x50 free relay.
In the classroom: Graduated top 5% of his class, represented Norway in the European Youth Parliament (Belgium 2024)
 
PERSONAL: 
Joining the Yote Fam from Bærums Verk, Norway, Matti was raised by Riina Eikenes and Tore Eikenes. Aside from his efforts in the pool, Matti is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in International Political Economy. He chose The College of Idaho because of swimming, sense of community, and good academics.
