Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Vielma is in his fourth season with the Coyote football program.

2016: Started nine games at defensive end, recording 33 total tackles, including nine stops at MSU-Northern; had seven tackles for loss, including two sacks.

2015: Played in all 11 games as part of the regular defensive end rotation; recorded 43 tackles, including a season-high nine tackles vs. Carroll; had 10 tackles for loss - including two vs. Eastern Oregon, while adding four sacks - including two vs. Carroll.

2014: Played in all 11 games as part of the regular linebacker rotation; tied for the team lead with 64 total tackles, including 14 tackles at Rocky Mountain and 11 vs. Eastern Oregon; added 5.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks; recovered a fumble vs. Montana Western.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Transferred to the C of I after one season at the University of Idaho, where he was a preferred walk-on, but did not play.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Bonneville High, where he was an All-High Country Conference and All-Eastern Idaho honors as a senior; also wrestled and competed in track.

PERSONAL: Studying health and human performance; son of Tom and Angelee Stoddard.
