Benke is in his fourth season with the Coyotes...saw action in 29 games during the 2011-12 season, averaging two points and three rebounds per game...hit 62-percent of his field goal attempts...had a career-high 10 points vs. Portland Bible, while recording nine rebounds on two occasions...played in all 30 games as a freshman, averaging three points and three rebounds per game... used the 2009-10 season as a redshirt year...a 2009 graduate of Vallivue High, where he helped his team to back-to-back 5A state tournament appearances, including the 2008 State Championship... averaged 14 points and seven rebounds a game as a senior, earning All-Southern Idaho Conference and All-State honors...also ran track as a prep, placing six in the high jump at the 5A state championships... looks to study health sciences...parents Brad and Connie Benke.
