AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Boyd is in his second season with the Coyote baseball program.

2018: Was the Yotes No. 1 starter, leading the team with a 3.69 ERA in 78 innings of work, walking 20 and striking out 76; struck out a season-high 10 batters in a home win vs. Benedictine Mesa; tossed eight innings of one-run ball, striking out seven in a no-decision at Lewis-Clark State; pitched eight innings of one-run ball, striking out eight in a home win over Corban.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Transferred to C of I after two seasons at Yakima Valley CC, where he helped his team to the 2016 NWAC title; earned All-NWAC honors in 2017, going 5-2 with a 3.29 ERA in 79.1 innings, walking 13 and striking out 79; struck out 14 batters in a shutout win at Skagit Valley CC; pitched for the Wenatchee Apple Sox during the summer as part of the West Coast League, posting a 3-2 record in eight starts.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Moses Lake High, where he earned All-Big 9 honors in leading his team to two trips to the 4A state championships; pitched for the Columbia Basin Riverdogs American League program.

PERSONAL: Studying anthropology/sociology; son of LeRoy and Danae Boyd.
