AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Grise is in his third season with the Coyote baseball program.

2016: Played in 35 games in the catcher rotation, hitting .247 with 14 RBI; recorded six multi-hit games, including three straight two-hit games early in the season; threw out 36-percent of would-be base-stealers; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team and earned Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.

2015: Played in 43 games as the Yotes primary catcher, hitting .250 with 16 RBI, adding three doubles and 20 walks; was stellar defensively, recording just one error in 286 chances, throwing out 22-percent of would-be base stealers; had six multi-hit games, including a 4-for-6 effort against the University of Mary; had a 6-game hit streak in April.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina; used 2013 as a redshirt season, while playing in three games as a freshman; named to the Dean's List each in both of his years at BAC.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Evergreen High, where he was a member of both the baseball and ski teams; in baseball, hit .485 with 22 RBI as a senior, earning All-Jefferson County League honors; also earned 4A All-State honors on the slopes.

PERSONAL: Studying business; son of Glen and Mary Grise.
