AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Wright is in his second season with the Coyote baseball program.

2016: Saw action in 60 games as a two-way player - hit .264 with 12 doubles and 32 RBI as an infielder, while making 17 appearances on the mound as the Yotes closer, going 1-4 with a 1.64 ERA and a school-record eight saves; had 12 multi-hit games, including a combined 5-for-9 effort in two games vs. William Carey at the NAIA Championships - roping a game-tying grand slam home run in the second meeting; picked up saves in four consecutive outings from April 30 to May 18; walked just four batters in 24.1 innings of work.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent two seasons at the College of Southern Idaho, where he was the starting shortstop.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Durango High in Nevada, where he was a four-year letter winner; played summer ball for Team Vegas and the LVBA Cardinals.

PERSONAL: Studying psychology; son of Robert and Patricia Wright.
