Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Schifone is in his fourth season with the Coyote alpine ski program.

2017: Earned All-NWCSC honors after finishing ninth in the individual standings, recording six Top-20 finishes, including a seventh-place finish in the season ending qualifier at Bogus Basin; placed 20th in the GS and 28th in the slalom at the USCSA Western Regional; placed 52nd in the giant slalom at the USCSA National Championships.

2016: Finished 19th in the NWCSC individual standings; recorded a season-best 11th-place finish at 49-Degrees North.

2015: Finished 11th in the NWCSC individual standings; had a season-best seventh-place finish at Bogus Basin in the giant slalom; placed 32nd in the giant slalom at the USCSA Western Regionals and 66th in the GS at the USCSA National Championships; qualified for the single-elimination bracket in the Skier-Cross at the USCSA National Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy, where he was a member of the alpine ski team; placed 30th overall in the giant slalom at the 2013 Vermont High School Ski Championships.

HOME MOUNTAIN: Burke Mountain Resort

PERSONAL: Studying health sciences; son of Michael and Ruth Schifone.
