Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Pfaff is in her third season with the Coyote cross country and track programs; earned Cascade Conference All-Academic Team honors in both sports during the 2015-16 season.

CROSS COUNTRY: In 2015, earned All-CCC and NAIA All-America honors after a stellar season; was the top non-Division I finisher at the Montana Invitational (18:10), placed fourth at the CCC Championships (18:26) and placed 26th at the NAIA Championships (18:07); clocked a season-best time of 17:50 at the Inland Empire Classic; as a freshman, had a banner 2014 season, earning All-CCC and NAIA All-America honors; ran a season-best 5,000-meter time of 17:32 at the Inland Empire Classic; placed fourth at the CCC Championships and 16th at the NAIA National Championships.

TRACK AND FIELD: As a sophomore in 2016, had a amazing season - earning four NAIA All-America honors and winning a pair of CCC titles, indoors, set a school record in the 1,000-meters, placing third at the NAIA Championships (2:54.69), while helping the distance medley relay to a third-place finish at Nationals; outdoors, won the CCC title in both the 800 and 1,500-meters, while earning All-America honors at the NAIA Championships with eighth-place finishes in both events; season-best times of 2:12.57 in the 800-meters and 4:33.22 in the 1,500-meters; in 2015, earned All-CCC and NAIA All-America honor after an outstanding freshman season; indoors, set school records in the 600-meters (1:36.88) and 1,000-meters (2:57.62), while qualifying for the NAIA Indoor National Championships in the 800-meters, where she placed tenth; earned CCC Runner of the Week honors on Jan. 27 and Feb. 17; outdoors, won CCC titles in both the 800-meters (2:10.84) and 1,500-meters (4:33.90), while placing eighth in the 400-meters (59.20); qualified for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships, placing fifth in the 800-meters and ninth in the 1,500-meters.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Hanford High, where she qualified for the 3A state championships in both cross country and track; in cross country, was a Top-20 finisher at the state meet, recording a season-best 5,000-meter time of 19:16; in track, recorded Top-6 finishes at the state meet in both the 400-meters (57.50) and the 800-meters (2:16); also competed in swimming as a prep.
