Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Cox is in his fourth season with the Coyote football program; ranks No. 2 in program history in pass completion percentage, No. 4 in pass completions; No. 5 in passing yards and No. 6 in pass attempts.

2016: Played in all 11 games as part of the quarterback rotation; completed 164-of-287 passes for 1,768 yards and eight touchdowns - ranking No. 2 on the single-season pass completion, pass attempt and passing yards list and No. 4 for completion percentage; went 29-for-39 for 281 yards against Carroll - setting a single-game school record for completions; rushed 71 times for 311 yards and two touchdowns, including a season-best 55 yards and two scores at Willamette; named to the Frontier Conference All-Academic Team.

2015: Played in one game at quarterback as a redshirt freshman; made his collegiate debut against Montana State-Northern, completing one pass for 21 yards.

2014: Used the season as a redshirt year.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Boise High, where he earned All-Southern Idaho Conference honors as a quarterback;.set a BHS school record with 544 yards passing against Meridian.
