CALDWELL, Idaho — Twelve College of Idaho track and field and cross country student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, recognizing their excellence in the classroom and in competition.
To be eligible, nominees must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and rank among the top 25 in the conference in at least one individual event during the track and field season. Institutions are limited to six selections per gender, with honorees chosen based on both academic and athletic achievement, as well as their representation of the program.
The College of Idaho women's honorees include Graycee Litton, Mattie Shirts and Kiriann Johnson, who were selected for track and field, along with Julia Gilbert, Jovi Kuskie and Kiely Munson, who competed in both cross country and track and field.
On the men's side, Madden Ryan, Oclan Ryan and Casey Crumley earned recognition for their efforts in both track and field and cross country. Patxi Franks, Lucas Midgett and Logan Prince were honored for their accomplishments in track and field.
The Academic All-District program celebrates student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, highlighting the balance required to succeed at a high level in collegiate sports.
