LEWISTON, Idaho — The College of Idaho dropped the series finale to Lewis-Clark State, 21-3, on Sunday at Harris Field.
The Yotes (20-12, 11-10) struck for three runs in the fourth inning, using RBI plays from Darren Smith, Corbin Sterner and Jace Mahlke to briefly take a 3-2 lead.
Lewis-Clark State answered in the bottom half of the inning, tying the game before a two-run home run from Jackson Jaha gave the Warriors the lead for good.
The Warriors broke the game open with a seven-run sixth inning and added seven more in the seventh, finishing with 17 hits on the day.
Connor Olsen led the Yotes with two hits.
College of Idaho returns home to prepare for a conference series on April 3rd and 4th at Wolfe Field.
