Moon Wins Program's First Player of the Week Since 2023

CORVALIS, Ore - Austin Moon's strong week captured the Cascade Collegiate Conference Baseball Player of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network. This marks the first time a Yotes player won player of the week since Skyler Sadora won the award in April 2023.

In six games las week, Moon collected 12 hits and added 10 RBIs combined with 5 runs while maintaining a perfect fielding percentage. He had one of his best performances in a Yote uniform in the nightcap on February 23rd against Eastern Oregon University. He went four for four in a dominating 15-4 showcase in La Grande. Moon was a part of almost half of the Yotes' scores. The junior batted in five of those runs and scored himself another two times. 

Moon and the Yotes return to Wolfe Field for their series against Oregon Tech. First pitch is scheduled for March 7th at 1PM MT.
