A four-run seventh inning proved to be the difference in the series finale. With the game tied at 6-6, Bacon drew a bases-loaded walk to put the Yotes in front. A wild pitch brought home another run before Smith and Cannon Morgan each forced in runs with walks, extending the lead to 12-6.
College of Idaho had taken the lead in the third with a five-run inning after falling behind 2-0. Gaff put the Yotes on the board with an RBI single, followed by a two-run double from Smith. Moon added an RBI single to push the lead to 5-2.
Embry-Riddle fought back in the sixth, scoring four runs to take a brief 6-5 lead. A defensive miscue, a ground-rule double, and a fielder's choice allowed the Eagles to surge ahead.
The Yotes quickly responded, regaining the lead with three runs in the bottom of the inning. Bacon drove in a run with an infield single, and Connor Olsen followed with a two-run single to left.
College of Idaho will remain at Wolfe Field next weekend for another home series.
