CALDWELL, Idaho – For the 13th consecutive season, the College of Idaho women's cross country team is headed to the NAIA National Championships, joined by the men's team for the 14th straight year. The Yotes will travel to Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla., where the women earned an automatic berth after capturing the Cascade Collegiate Conference title on Friday, while the men received an at-large selection during Monday's official announcement.
The Yotes are no strangers to the national stage, each side has claimed a Red Banner in recent years, with the women winning the 2023 championship and the men following with their own national title in 2024. Despite significant roster turnover from graduating seniors, the programs remain among the most consistent in the NAIA.
The women's travel roster includes Ainsley Bowen, Paiten Braseth, Rozzlyn Cazier, Julia Gilbert, Jovi Kuskie, Josie Patton, and Kylee Quinton, with Kiely Munson serving as the alternate. Six Yotes earned All-Cascade Conference honors: Bowen, Braseth, Cazier, Gilbert, Patton, and Quinton.
On the men's side, the College of Idaho will be represented by Collin DeJulio, Oclan Ryan, Isaac Anttonen, Casey Crumley, Cass Violett, Everett Metier, and Isaac Edwards, with Ashton Drage as the alternate. DeJulio earned All-Cascade Conference honors and will lead a deep Yotes lineup as they return to defend their 2024 national championship performance.
The NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championship is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22, at 8:30 a.m. ET, followed by the men's race at 9:30 a.m. ET. Awards will air at approximately 11 a.m. ET.
