OLYMPIA, Wash. — The College of Idaho men's basketball team dominated from start to finish, cruising to a 100-56 victory over Evergreen State College in Cascade Conference action Saturday night.
The Yotes controlled the game early, building a 21-point halftime lead (47-26) with a balanced attack and smothering defense. They kept their foot on the gas in the second half, shooting 55% from the field and 36.8% from beyond the arc to extend their lead to as many as 54 points.
Johnny Radford led College of Idaho with 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three-point range. Alex Germer added 14 points off the bench, hitting 2-of-3 from deep, while Tyler Robinett chipped in 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Straton Rogers anchored the defense, grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds to go along with six points.
The Yotes were relentless on the glass, out-rebounding the Geoducks 42-26, and turned 17 Evergreen turnovers into 23 points. Their bench contributed significantly, outscoring Evergreen's reserves 46-16.
Evergreen struggled offensively, shooting 37.3% from the field and just 33.3% from three. Bradley Graham led the Geoducks with 17 points, while Solomon Campbell and Zach Jefferson each grabbed five rebounds.
