LEWISTON, Idaho – No. 8 LC State swept a doubleheader against The College of Idaho. A

Jack Ingraham in the second for an early lead for the visitors. LC State came back to score 14 unanswered runs on 13 hits, including an eight-run eighth inning.
One of the big blows was a three-run homerun in the fifth by Brandon Cabrera to spark the Warriors attack. LC State would go on to score another in the fifth before scoring eight runs in the bottom of the eighth.
In the loss,
Chandler Stocking had two of the three Yotes hits in the game in the 14-1 loss in the seven inning contest.
The nightcap saw the Yotes get ahead early for the second-straight game. Alex McFarland picked up his first hit of the nightcap of the twinbill with a single to left field to bring in
Jordan Kelly to score. Then, a Dillion Danner single to left field brought in McFarland for the second run of the opening inning.
LC State showed its prowess and why it is nationally ranked as they came back with six unanswered runs for a 6-2 victory. College of Idaho had ten hits in the contest, whereas the Warriors picked up 12 en route to the win.
Leading the Yotes in hits was a pair of hits by McFarland to go along with a run scored and a RBI. Dillion Danner also had two hits and a RBI; in addition,
Jack Ingraham was the third Yote with two hits in the contest.
