The College of Idaho beach volleyball team raised its record to 3-2 with a 4-1 win over Northwest on Thursday. The matchup marked the first intercollegiate contest on the new courts after a pair of intra-squad contests and a exhibition contest against College of Southern Idaho.

The first win on the day came after a loss by No. 2 pairs when the No. 4 pairs of of
Clair Hodge and
Greta Valaika won by a 21-15, 21-9 margin to even the match at 1 apiece.

College of Idaho went on to win the next three matchups as the No. 1 pair,
Haley McUne and
Sydney Dews were winners by a 21-16, 21-18 margin and the No. 5 pair of
Keylee Wilson and
Ellie Baker clinched the win with a 22-20, 21-9.
The Yotes also won the lone match that was decided in three sets as the No. 3 pair of
Emily Vandenberg and
Liza Montalbo outlasted their Eagles counterparts, 21-9, 19-21, 15-5.
