With an 11-2 win by Lewis-Clark State on Sunday, College of Idaho split a four-game non-conference series between the two teams.
In the loss, College of Idaho was limited to four hits by three LC State pitchers. One of the four hits was a RBI single by
Alex McFarland-Smith in the first inning. The loss drops the Yotes to 8-10 on the season.
For the Warriors, in the win, they scored in seven of the nine innings with a five-run sixth. Jack Sheward and Brandon Cabrera had three hits apiece in the win. Starting pitcher Hiroyuki Yamada went six innings and allowed two unearned runs to go along with eight strikeouts for the win.
Up next for College of Idaho is another non-conference series as they host a four-game series Bushnell. The two teams will play a doubleheader each day as action gets underway with the twinbill against the Beacons at noon.
