Samaje Morgan scored a game-high 26 points – one shy of his season-high - to lead No. 3 College of Idaho to an 85-73 win over host Northwest on Saturday night. Morgan also handed out eight assists in the game. Teammates

Drew Wyman joined him in double figures, scoring 20 and 12 points, respectively.
College of Idaho (24-2, 19-1 CCC) extended its winning streak to 19 games with the win. It is the third time in program history that the Yotes have had a 19-game winning streak.
Northwest was led by a double-double performance from Luke Howard, who had a game-high 30 points to go along with 10 rebounds in 27 minutes of action. Lewis Pope and Nash Wobrock joined him in double figures with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
The Yotes scored the first five points of the game on its way to an early advantage. The Eagles came back to tie the game at 16 with 14:40 left in the first 20 minutes. The remainder of the half went back and forth with the contest tied on seven occasions neither team able to build a lead larger than four.
After finishing the first 20 minutes tied at 42, Morgan and Wobrock each scored a basket for their respective teams to tie the contest for an eighth and final time. A
Jake O'Neil layup put College of Idaho ahead for the remainder of the contest. The host Eagles cut the deficit to six, 62-56, with 9:25 left to play would be as close as Northwest would get.
Next, College of Idaho comes home to the J.A. Albertson Activity Center for Senior Weekend with matchups against Bushnell on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Corban on Saturday at 5 p.m. The seniors will be honored before the Saturday matchup.
