OLYMPIA, Wash. – For the fifth-straight game, No. 3 College of Idaho eclipsed the 100-point mark as they posted a 101-69 win over host Evergreen to extend its winning streak to 18 games.
College of Idaho was paced by a 17-point effort from
Samaje Morgan and a pair of 15-point efforts from
Drew Wyman and
Dougie Peoples as the Yotes improve to 23-2 overall and 18-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Evergreen (3-21, 2-17 CCC) got a team-high 14 from Lane Kennedy in the loss.
The Yotes scored the first 11 points of the game and never gave up the lead for the rest of the contest. College of Idaho put up 51 points in the first 20 minutes for its fifth-straight game of at least 50 points in the first half. Morgan scored 10 of his 17 and Peoples scored nine of his 15 in the first half to lead College of Idaho.
The second half saw College of Idaho shoot 55.9% (19 of 34) and outrebound the Geoducks by a 27-12 margin on its way to the win. Wyman scored eight of his 15 to lead the visitors on the way to the victory.
