CALDWELL, Idaho – The College of Idaho women's basketball team extended its winning streak to three games with a 76-64 win over Multnomah on Saturday.
Five Yotes scored in double figures, including a game-high 20 from Mia Austin to pace C of I, who raises its record to 8-16 overall and 8-10. She was joined in double figures by a pair of 10-point efforts Brooke Beresford and Bryanna Graham and two 12-point efforts from Kylie Waltermeyer and Anna Money. Beresford corralled 11 rebounds for her fifth double double on the season.
Multnomah was led by a double double from Gracie Browning, who scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the loss. The Lions, who fall to 5-18, 2-15 in the CCC, were led by a 15-point contest from Mia Martineu and a 14-point effort from Savannah Huerta.
The host Yotes ended the first quarter on a 14-5 run to end the opening 10 minutes with a 29-16 lead. College of Idaho remained in front for the rest of the game and built a lead as large as 17 on its way to the win. Austin hit six 3-pointers in the win to tie a season-high in the win.
Up next is the final regular season road trip for College of Idaho as they will face Evergreen State on Friday, Feb. 16 at 8:30 p.m. and Northwest on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m.
