Box Score KIRKLAND, Wash. — College of Idaho fell in a close five-set match to Northwest University, losing 25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-12 in Cascade Conference action Friday night.
Haley McUne led the Yotes with 11 kills on a .229 hitting percentage, while Shelbey Nichol and Abby Draghici added eight kills each. Draghici was efficient with a .571 hitting percentage, and setter Savannah Hutchins provided 22 assists and nine digs.
Northwest was led by Kaitlyn Mickle, who tallied a match-high 22 kills and hit .192. Delaney Sparks chipped in 15 kills on a .433 clip. The Eagles' serving proved crucial, as they finished with 14 aces to the Yotes' nine.
College of Idaho forced a fifth set but couldn't hold off Northwest, who claimed the final frame, 15-12.
