Eugene, Ore. - The College of Idaho Men's Soccer team continues their impressive run, securing a decisive 4-1 win against Bushnell University. This victory extends their unbeaten streak to four games, improving their record to 6-3-1 in conference play and solidifying their position in third place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
The Yotes took an early lead with a goal in the 8th minute from Pierre Fabre, assisted by Dani Alejos. Krew Christensen doubled the advantage just before halftime, with assists from Keidin Green and Ben Calam. Moments later, Keidin Green added his own goal off a setup from Hugo Gutierrez, sending the Yotes into the break with a commanding 3-0 lead.
Early in the second half, J.J. Osuna capitalized on a corner kick from Luke Quinn, extending the Yotes' lead to 4-0. Although Bushnell found the net in the 80th minute with a free-kick goal from Danny Rojas, College of Idaho's defense, anchored by goalkeeper Ben Anderson, held firm for the remainder of the match.
The Yotes will aim to continue their streak as they face Corban University tomorrow at 3:30 PM MT in Salem, Oregon.
