Abbey Shirts Named CCC Female Track Athlete of the Meet

La Grande, Ore. / Corvallis, Ore. - College of Idaho's Abbey Shirts was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Meet at the championship on Saturday. 

Shirts won the women's 800m run, took second in the 1,500m and was the anchor to the 4x400m relay team that took sixth. She is the fifh track athlete from College of Idaho since 2007 to earn the honor. Past honorees include Stephanie Pesaud (2009), Hillary Holt (2013), Tiana Thomas (2016) and Larissa Mauer (2021).
