JUST WIN BABY:  With 30-straight wins, College of Idaho has the longest active winning streak in college men's basketball. As of Mar. 6, a pair of women's basketball programs - South Carolina (NCAA Division I) is 32-0 and Ashland (NCAA Divsion II) is 31-0. The 30 wins by College of Idaho are the most in the NAIA.

HANDING OUT HARDWARE: Colby Blaine became the first coach in program history to be named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Coach of the Year on three occasions. He has led College of Idaho to 30 wins in the last five seasons with the exception of the CoVID season of 2020-21. Blaine heads into next week's NAIA National Tournament with an all-time mark of 132-24 and a winning percentage of .846. Three players – Jake O'Neil, Johnny Radford and Drew Wyman - were named to the all-Cascade Collegiate Conference Team with Tyler Robinett being selected honorable mention. Charles Elzie became the seventh player in program history to be named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year.

ALL-TIME AT NATIONALS: With the Cascade Conference regular-season title, the Yotes clinched an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship. It is the Coyotes 10th trip to the stand-alone NAIA Championship, posting a 8-9 mark – including trips to the national quarterfinals in 1988, 1989 and 2022. C of I made 15 trips to the NAIA Division II Championships, having posted a 24-13 record in the tournament – including trips to the quarterfinals in 1993, 2001 and 2015, semifinal appearances in 2018 and 2019, and winning the 1996 NAIA title. 

UNANIMOUS AT THE TOP: The College of Idaho men's basketball team received all 20 first-place votes to remain No. 1 in the latest 2022-23 NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll announced on February 22. The Yotes have been in the top spot for the last four (unanimous in the last two) rankings and in the top four for the entire season.
