CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho Yotes men's basketball will continue its postseason run after earning an at-large berth to the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship, landing in the Naismith Bracket for the second consecutive season.
The Yotes will travel to Orange City, Iowa for a first-round matchup against William Penn (Iowa) on March 13. The game will be hosted by the Northwestern College (Iowa) Red Raiders, the No. 4 seed in the bracket.
College of Idaho enters the matchup as the No. 12 seed and will face the No. 5-seeded Statesmen in the opening round. The winner will advance to Saturday's second-round contest against either host Northwestern or the No. 13 seed Taylor (Ind.) Trojans.
The first and second rounds will be played at Northwestern's home venue in Orange City, with game times and ticket information to be announced. Updates will be posted on the team's schedule page as soon as details become available. All NAIA Tournament games will be live streamed on The Urban Edge Network.
The Naismith Bracket is one of four quadrants in the opening rounds of the national championship tournament. Teams that win both games at their site will advance to the final rounds of the tournament in Kansas City, Missouri later this month.
