College of Idaho's Sage Martin Named CCC/Rize Laboratory Women's Track Athlete of the Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. - College of Idaho junior Sage Martin was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference/Rize Laboratory Women's Track Athlete of the Week on Monday. A junior from Meridian, Idaho, posted an NAIA "A" qualifying mark in the 5,000m run with a winning time and school record of 16:48 at the Lewis & Clark Friday Night Lights Meet, last week. Her time of 16:48 eclipsed the school record of 17:05.06 held by Sarah Johnson, who set the mark on April 5, 2014 at the SFSU Distance Carnvial.
