The College of Idaho women's track and field team had three NAIA "A" qualifying performances at the Whitworth Indoor Invitational.
The Yotes were led by the performance of
Sage Martin, who won the 3,000m run with a time of 9:59.96 with a NAIA "A" qualifying time and the 12
th fastest in the NAIA. Teammate
Ellyse Tingelstad was fifth in 10:13.58, which is also a NAIA "A" qualifying time.
Martin and Shirts teamed up with
Zoe Butler and
Larissa Mauer to win the distance medley relay with a "A" qualifying time of 12:09.43. The time is the sixth fastest to date in the NAIA.
Plus,
Abbey Shirts was fourth in the mile with a time of 5:08.66 on her way to a fourth-place finish.
Addison Trent posted a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 17-2.25 (5.24m) and
Sage Wood had a PR in the pole vault with a clearance of 9-1 (2.77m).
