UC San Diego Edges College of Idaho, 9-8

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - The College of Idaho lacrosse team dropped a 9-8 decision to UC San Diego on Saturday.

UC San Diego attacker Austin Ortel had a goal and five assists and midfielder Finn Reid had four goals in the win for the Tritons. 

College of Idaho had three players - Dane Hamilton, Loy Howard and Ryan O'Leary - with two goals apiece in the loss. Max Anderson and David Alvarado each had two victories in faceoff opportunities and Van Goyen and Dane Hamilton each picked up a team-best three ground balls. Jacob Wong made 11 saves in the contest.
