LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The College of Idaho stretched a one-goal lead to seven with a 6-0 second quarter on its way to a 19-7 win in the season opener on Friday night.
The Yotes (1-0) held a 3-2 lead as action moved to the second quarter where College of Idaho kept Claremont off the scoreboard and scored six unanswered on its way to the win.
Loy Howard was a menace with six goals and five assists and in his C of I debut,
Nathan Jones scored five times with an assist on another. Howard and Jones had six and five ground balls, resepectively. Plus,
Dane Hamilton added two goals. Plus,
