CORVALLIS, Ore. – College of Idaho junior
Sage Martin was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference/Rize Laboratory Women's Track Athlete of the Week on Monday. The junior from Meridian posted the third-fastest time in the NAIA in the mile at the 2023 Stacy Draiglia Open with a converted time of 4:57.80. Martin finished fifth overall and was the top runner in a field full of NCAA Division I competition. The time was just outside the top five performances in program history held by NAIA Hall of Fame member Hillary Holt. Martin and College of Idaho will resume its indoor season at the EOU Lew Thorne Invite on Saturday in La Grande, Oregon.
