Four members of the visiting College of Idaho women's basketball team scored in double figures in a 63-58 loss to Oregon Tech on Friday night.

Mia Austin led the Yotes with 14 points on the strength of four 3-pointers in the defeat. She was joined in double figures by senior
Lexi Mitchell, who added 12 to complement a seven rebound, five assist and three steal effort. Also in double figures for College of Idaho were
Sienna Riggle and
Riley Frith, who had 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Oregon Tech (13-5, 9-3 CCC) erased a 53-51 deficit midway through the fourth quarter with a 12-2 run to go ahead for the rest of the contest. The Owls were paced by an 18 point effort from Olivia Sprague, who was joined in double figures by Maddyson Tull, who added 14.

The Yotes had a strong third quarter after trailing by four, 35-31, at half. In the third quarter, College of Idaho limited the Owls to 26.7% (4-for-15) shooting from the field. The defensive intensity turned into hot shooting for the Yotes, who shot at a 46.7% (7-for-15) clip. The efforts put College of Idaho ahead 48-45 after the first three quarters of play.

The fourth quarter saw three-different Owls score the first six points of the quarter to regain the lead. Austin hit her fourth 3-pointer of the game with 4:50 left in the game to put the visitors ahead 53-51 before six-straight points by Owls' reserve Melissa Lee put the home team ahead for the remainder of the game.
Next, College of Idaho will travel to face Southern Oregon University on Saturday at 5 p.m. (CST)/4 p.m. (MT).
