SALEM, Ore. - The College of Idaho women's basketball team put together a furious fourth quarter rally that came up just short, falling to host Corban, 57-56.
The Yotes (10-7, 5-6 CCC) were led by sophomore
Taryn Riley, who led all scorers in the game with 19 points on 8-15 shooting.
Jada Reed also ended up in double figures, contributing 11. Down by five heading into the fourth, Riley would hit the go-ahead layup with :34 after a timeout. Ultimately, two free throws with 24 seconds left gave Corban the one-point win.
The Warriors (9-8, 6-5 CCC) were led by Kirsten Koehnke who finished with a team high 15, followed by Maddie Godwin who added 12.
Up next, the Yotes travel to Klamath Falls to take on Oregon Tech next Friday.
