EUGENE, Ore. - The College of Idaho women's basketball team started their Oregon road trip Friday, falling on the road to Bushnell by a score of 65-52.
The Yotes (10-6, 5-5 CCC) started off the game with a lid on the rim, shooting 18% in the first quarter. The first quarter saw five Yotes score.
Bryanna Graham made the most of her nine minutes in the game, leading the team with 12 points.
Sienna Riggle tallied yet another double-double this season, scoring 10 points while adding 15 rebounds in the effort. Eight Yotes would score in the contest, as
Lexi Mitchell contributed nine, and
Jada Reed added seven.
The Beacons (10-5, 7-3 CCC) saw four players score in double figures, led by Kalina Rojas who notched 13 on an even 50% shooting night, going 6-12. Other Beacons in double figures included Aspen Slifka with 12, Libby Mathis with 10, and Kaylen Kamelamela with 10. The Beacons led the game in bench points, outscoring the Yotes 28-22, while maintaining a 53-40 edge on rebounding the basketball.
