CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho men's soccer team fell in a highly physical contest to Warner Pacific, 3-1, to open the Cascade Collegiate Conference slate.
The game saw a total of 14 cards given between yellow and red, including two red cards given out, one to each side. Brandon Leach got the scoring started as he scored in the 12th minute on a beautiful assist from Alain Murhula.
Joao Bastos followed that up with a goal in the 21st minute from an assist by
Caio Pereira. Hunter Leach ended the first half scoring in the 41st minute as the Knights would take a 2-1 lead going into the break.Â
The physicality increased in the second half, as nine cards were given out, including a straight red card to Warner Pacific's Hunter Leach, and a second yellow card to Bastos later in the game. During the final ten minutes, there were six cards given out,
