College of Idaho Women's Soccer Adds Three

CALDWELL, Idaho – The two-time NAIA National Tournament qualifying College of Idaho women's soccer team have bolstered its defense with the signing of three players to Cascade Conference Letters of Intent for the 2022 season.
 
Hailey Jo Parks from Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene will join the 'Yotes after a standout high school career as a three-sport letterwinner. Parks helped lead the team to back to back state tournament appearances, including a state title as a senior where she recorded a shutout of Boise. She was a four-year letterwinner in soccer, three year in basketball and two in track and field. She currently ranks fifth in her graduating class for her efforts in the classroom. In 2021 and in 2022, she has been named an Idaho Top Scholar. Parks has also played club soccer for the Thorns North FC. At College of Idaho, she plans on majoring in either engineering or biology.
 
The next newcomer is defender McKenzie Lembcke from Moses Lake High School in Moses Lake, Washington. She picked up the Coaches Award and honorable mention all-conference honors. Lembcke has also played for the Endeavour/Basin Sounders and the Spokane Sounders club teams. She plans on majoring in exercise science at C of I with plans to becoming a physical therapist.

The third signee is defender Breanna Johnson, who returns to the west coast after starting her college career at Iowa Western Community College. At Iowa Western, she played in 30 games in two seasons where they also made two appearances at the national tournament. Johnson is originally from Stockton, Utah, where she attended Real Salt Lake Academy High School and served as a team captain her senior year. She also was selected for the team's leadership award. Johnson also played for the Tooele FC, in addition to her high school team.
