CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho baseball team earned a Senior Day victory by sweeping the Linfield Wildcats, winning on Sunday by the score of 10-1.
The Yotes honored 10 seniors, as all 10 saw action on Sunday.
Jared Bowman got the start, going two innings and only allowing two hits.
Wyatt Hankard earned the Senior Day victory, his first victory of the season, going two innings and allowing a single hit.
Kyle McPeak went an inning and two-thirds while allowing the only Linfield run of the contest.
On the offensive side of the plate, fifth year senior
Weston Miller led the Yotes offense in a 3-5 effort.
Connor Root saw his first plate appearance of the season, as well as
Dimick Wood and
Erik Wisenor seeing an at-bat, both reaching base. Wood reached base on a single to center field and eventually scored, and Wisenor reached on an error.
Skyler Sadora drove in three of the Yotes runs on a 3-4 performance.Â
Up next for the Yotes is the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament, taking place in Lewiston, Idaho, May 9-11. The game time and opponent will be named later.
