sCALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho men's lacrosse set a new school record for goal differential in a 42-2 win over Southern Oregon on Sunday afternoon.
The Yotes (3-0, 1-0 PNCLL) had nine-different players find the back of the net with eight more recording an assist in the win.
Casey Davies scored 12 goals and racked up 14 assists to go along with nine ground balls to lead the high-scoring attack. Davies becomes just the fourth player and first since R.J. Walker in 2018 to score 10 goals in a game. His 14 assists eclipse his own single-game record of 10 that he set in 2019.
It was not just a one-man show as Loy Hamilton and
Brad Hale each scored six,
Parker Archuleta added four,
Joey Brant and
David Alvarado had three goals for C of I in the win. Howard also had four assists in the winning efforts.
