SPOKANE, Wash. / POCATELLO, Idaho - The College of Idaho women's track and field team was split up into two meets at the Mountain State Games hosted by the University of Idaho and the Whitworth Invitational hosted by Whitworth University.
At the Mountain State Games,
Kiersten Lancaster lowered her season best from Friday's prelims in Saturday's finals with a winning time of NAIA "B" qualifying mark of 9.02 in the 60m hurdles.
Jessica Dorohov posted a time of 7.98 to secure third in the 60m dash and 26.45 in the 200m dash where she finished sixth.
At the Whitworth Invitational, Charlotte Wilson posted a season-best time of 1:02.76 in the 400m dash. The 4x800-meter relay team was victorious in a season-best time of 9:43.40 just shy of a NAIA "B" qualifying cut of 9:41.31
Next weekend, C of I will host the Polar Vortex Classic at nearby Caldwell High School on Friday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 19 as a last chance qualifying meet for the upcoming NAIA Indoor National Track & Field Championships, Mar. 3-5.
