LEWISTON, Idaho - A balanced scoring effort led the No. 3 College of Idaho men's basketball team to its 12th-straight win in an 82-58 win over host Lewis-Clark State on Saturday. 
Caden Handran, who went 6-for-6 from the field, led the Yotes with 14 points.

Drew Wyman each had 11; plus, four more had at least seven.
 
College of Idaho (12-1, 7-0 CCC) shot 50.7% (34-for-67) from the field, including 39.1% (9-for-23) from beyond the 3-point line in the win. It is the third time and second-straight game that C of I have made at least 50% of its shots from the field. Plus, with nine 3-pointers, College of Idaho has made at least nine trifectas in five games, including the last two and three of its last four.
 
Lewis-Clark State (6-7, 3-4 CCC) picked up a pair of 12-point efforts by Oreon Courtney and John Lustig. The Warriors were held to 33.3% (18-for-54) shooting from the field and 11.1% (2-for-18) on 3-point field goal attempts. The 33.3% field goal percentage was the second lowest effort of the season by the home team and the two 3-pointers were the fewest it had made on the season. The last time that the Warriors made two 3-pointers or fewer in a game was on February 2, 2018 at Montana Tech.
 
An early 11-1 spurt to start the game by the visitors prompted a time out by Lewis-Clark State as College of Idaho led from start to finish in the win. The lead remained double digits for the final 35 minutes as College of Idaho left Lewiston with the win and end 2022 with a 33-3 mark and a .917 winning percentage.
 
Next, College of Idaho will come home to the J.A. Albertson Activity Center where they have won their last 27 to host Evergreen on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Northwest on Saturday at 5 p.m.
