LA GRANDE, Ore. - The College of Idaho women's basketball team struggled to find offense in a loss to Eastern Oregon, dropping Friday's contest, 78-37.
The Yotes (5-4) shot 15-60 in the game, as
Taryn Riley was the team's leading scorer with 12. Riley, along with
McKenzie Hirsch and
Mia Austin, recorded a three point field goal in the game, as the team shot 3-9 from beyond the arc. Riley was the only Yote in double figures, as
Sienna Riggle finished just short with nine in the contest.
The Mountaineers (6-1) were led by Sailor Liefke who recorded 16 points on 5-9 from the floor, including 4-5 from three point range. Other Mounties in double figures included Brie Holecek with 13 and Shaelie Burgess with 12. 11 Eastern players recorded points in the game.
