CALDWELL, Idaho - The two teams traded the first two baskets before host College of Idaho went on its way to a 20-6 lead with 10:48 to go in the opening half on its way to an 82-68 win over Madonna in the final game of the Taco Bell Shootout on Saturday night.

Johnny Radford knocked down a season-high six 3-pointers on his way to 24 points to lead College of Idaho, who raised his record to 5-1.
Charles Elzie added 14 points and handed out five assists and
Samaje Morgan handed out 10 assists,
Tyler Robinett added 11 points and
Jake O'Neil nearly had his second-straight double double with eight points and 10 rebounds.
Madonna, who falls to 6-3, was led by a 31 point, 17 rebound effort from Brendan Young. All-American Marek Mettie struggled with foul trouble and scored nine points and grabbed three rebounds.
The early spurt put College of Idaho ahead for most of the game as they led 38:30 of the contest. In the 20-6 spurt, five-different players from the Yotes contributed to the early lead. Twice, in the opening half, College of Idaho held a lead of 15 points. Later in the game, Madonna got the digit to single digits but the Yotes withstood the threat before taking a lead as large as 23.
College of Idaho set a pair of season-highs in the win, knocking down 11 3-pointers and handing out 24 assists on 31 field goals.
The road for the Yotes will now be the rigorous Cascade Collegiate Conference play with a matchup on Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Southern Oregon.
