PORTLAND, Ore. - College of Idaho outshot Multnomah 23-8 en route to a 3-0 victory at the Eastside Timbers Soccer Complex on Friday afternoon.

The Yotes (3-0, 1-0 CCC) began CCC play in strong fashion with 14 shots in the first half.
Bernardo Zanatta would break the tie in the 36th minute with a partially deflected shot to give the away side the 1-0 advantage.

C of I would continue the offensive presence in the second half, with the Lions (0-5, 0-1 CCC) fouling C of I inside their own penalty box in the 63rd minute. Soon after,
Caio Pereira converted the penalty kick to double the lead and give the junior his fourth goal of the season.

C of I would add to the lead in the 72nd minute with a 10-yard blast from
Liam Kelly to secure the victory.

In goal,
Drew Morris provided four saves to record his first shutout of his career.

It marks the first 3-0 start by C of I since the 2015 season and just their fifth 3-0 start in program history – while handing MU their 37th-straight loss.
